Dr. Harden earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital, as well as a residency in neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Following her residencies, she completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.
Prior to joining the North Shore-LIJ Health System, Dr. Harden served as an epilepsy neurologist at the New York Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan and also served as director of the epilepsy program at the University of Miami.
Dr. Harden is board certified in neurology, epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. She is professor of neurology at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. She has authored or collaborated on many book chapters and articles for peer-reviewed journals, such as Epilepsia, Neurology, the Journal of Epilepsy, and the Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Harden is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Neurological Association, the American Epilepsy Society and the American Clinical Neurophysiological Society.
