Controversial magnetic wave treatment treats depression

Dr. Michael Schulder,  Vice Chair of Neurosurgery at Cushing Neuroscience Institute discusses a controversial treatment that some experts think may help in the treatment of depression.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation involves the administration of magnetic waves while the patient is awake and fully conscious. The treatment is painless and has few side effects.
