North Shore-LIJ’s Cushing Neuroscience Institute Physicians Named as Recipients of the 2012 Patients’ Choice Awards

MANHASSET, NY – Neurosurgeons and neurologists from North Shore-LIJ’s Cushing Neuroscience Institute (CNI) have been named as recipients of the 2012 Patients’ Choice Awards.  Only physicians who have received top scores by their patients and pass other quality measures are awarded this honor. 

Every month, more than 200,000 patients across the United States access websites such as Vitals (www.vitals.com), to share feedback about their experiences with their doctors.  Patients rate various components of patient care they receive such as the accuracy of their diagnosis, the amount of time they spent with the doctor, the doctor’s bedside manner and follow-up care.  Patients’ Choice ranks the top reviewed physicians and looks at other quality measures to compile its yearly list.

The neurosurgeons and neurologists from North Shore-LIJ’s Cushing Neuroscience Institute who were named as recipients of the 2012 Patients’ Choice Awards include:
